In this amazing novel, Hazel Grace Lancaster, a 16 year old
girl who suffers from cancer relies on an oxygen tank to survive. She was
diagnosed with cancer when she was 13 and was expected to die at 14 years of age,
but a medical miracle happened, and now the tumors in her lungs are shrunk. And Hazel's life changes when she meets Augustus Waters at the cancer kid
support group.
Simply fantastic. There are so many to list
out! You get the wittiness and humor of John Green as usual. The characters, be
it the main or the side characters, were really well-developed and likable.
Hazel is very relatable and Augustus is an amazing love-interest! The writing was great. There are so many quotable lines and it really is a thought-provoking book. Seriously, sooooo many quotes!!! (CLICK HERE FOR QUOTES)
And The Fault in Our Stars sure is
EMOTIONAL. So heart-wrenching! My tears are not like a waterfall but it
just wells up in my eyes and blurred my vision until I cannot even read.
