I am in a reading slump now. :(
And hence, there aren't many book reviews recently. Because of that, I decided to try to break out of it. I researched on a few tips on how to do just that and I am going to share it with you.
1) Read something that you love.
Be it the Harry Potter series or just anything that you have read for a billionth time, just go for it!
2) Read a random book.
Choose a book from your pile or just ask a friend to help you randomly pick one.
3) Read shorter books.
By picking up and completing a short novel makes you have satisfaction.
That's all and I hope you have a wonderful weekend! :) I chose The Luxe by Anna Godbersen as my random book and we'll see how it goes......
My reading slump just ended. Good luck. Great suggestions I'll use next time for sure.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I hope that you do not hit a reading slump anytime soon! :)
DeleteLast time I got in a reading slump. I made my husband pick out a book for me, and then I just made myself sit down and read. In the end, I was glad I did. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThat's great and thank you very much!
DeleteI hate hitting a reading slump. May yours pass quickly! I was never one to read novellas until I found out how great they are for reading slumps. Best of luck getting your groove back.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Reading slumps are like one of the most undesirable things for a reader. :)
DeleteGreat post! I'll have to keep these in mind.
