I dove into this book, not sure what to expect of it. I did have a moderately-high expectation, and I was a little let-down.
The Catcher in the Rye is definitely a character driven book. The narrator is sixteen year-old Holden Caulfield and we follow him around New York after he got expelled from yet another prestigious prep school. And "a depressed teen wanders aimlessly around New York City" would basically sum up this classic.
|Michael Cera as Holden Caulfield?|
I didn't really like the writing style. Too much of swearing and stuff.
